KIDS ROOM

Aaron has worked his tail off getting Pax...er...the kids' room ready. Before even doing any priming and painting.....he scraped the walls and ceiling, then skimmed them with mud and sanded them....multiple times....to even out all of the cracks and crevices. He also melted (with a heat gun) the many many layers of paint off the baseboards, the windows, the trim and the doors and then sanded them. He also applied a layer of poly/stain to the floors to freshen them up. He also stripped the hardware on the windows, replaced the doorknobs....and what seemed like a million other details. This room looks incredible. I just want to camp out in here...and in the bathroom :)

The closet is a bit more shallow now that it was originally because Aaron used part of the closet to create the laundry room in the kitchen. I think it will work though. Good thing little people have little clothes.

We'll put a toddler bed on the wall that doesn't currently have any furniture. I also want to get a little wooden table and chairs and perhaps some other curtains to go over the blackout shades. We also need to put artwork on the walls.
