MEMPHIS - DAY 1

Pax is having a BIIIG time in Memphis meeting family and friends. This baby is so loved.Uncle Michael. He sure knows how to soothe Pax and have fun with him.

LOVE HATE FOR THE PACI

I DEFINITELY have a love/hate relationship with paci. LOVE that it so miraculously soothes him when he's going to sleep. HATE that the little guy can be so co-dependent on it and that I feel the need to put it back in his mouth about 5 times a night. We're working on having Pax "self-soothe." Of course, that's difficult if he's swaddled, which, for us, has also been calming. Here he is trying his best!

Thanks again to hand-me-downs from Riley, we have a new play mat. Pax loves it. In fact, I just spent the last 15 minutes calming him because he played too long and got overly tired.

We had an exciting past few days. Our friend, Megan, was in town from San Francisco. On Saturday afternoon, I helped host a bridal shower/tea for her....which carried on into the evening. So, Pax stayed with Papa and had a great time! Mama only called to check in on them a FEW times.

Then on Sunday, a group of us all went out to lunch. Here some pics from the weekend.

Today, I took Pax to work to meet the gang. He was like a celebrity. Tomorrow, we will go again to meet another batch of work folks.
