BROTHERING
OK...I just couldn't delete many pics from this series. I don't have many pics of the boys together. This is so fun!

KITCHEN - PROGRESS REPORT

Aaron has finished most of the cabinets (uppers and lowers on stove wall, lowers on window wall and the pantry!!!). He’s using mahogany. There are NO doors on them yet. I’m loving every bit of it!
The cabinet features that I’m MOST excited about:
The pull out shelves
The pull out compartments for cookie sheets and appliances
The cookbook shelves
The secret door for cell phone chargers
ALL OF IT REALLY!
Next up for the Papa:
Build the cabinet/box around the refrigerator
Build all the cabinet doors
Replace the windows
Add trim around doorways, window and laundry room
Build and install concrete counter tops

HAPPY FOURTH
We had a GREAT 4th! We went to Orange County to visit our fab friends, the Pelinkas!
Their little town had a carnival with games and food and FIRE TRUCK RIDES!!! Of course, I did not get a family picture...nor did I get a photo with the newest Pelinka member...baby Emery. Next time!
Durham, Pax and Amos had on matching "USA Rocks" shirts. Pretty adorable.
Pax also got to watch some "pop works" from our house before he went to bed. He kept hollering out "one more big one, please."
We also continued to celebrate on Monday with more dear friends....a beach brunch/party in the morning with Josh and Leslie Hamilton and a cookout at Todd and Rebecca's (next door) in the afteroon. It was a great weekend!
