OUR LIL' PUMPKIN

GIMME SOME

I don't know if you can see it very well in the video, but we got such a kick out of this. Whenever Aaron eats certain things and he is close to Pax's face, Pax seems to have this uncontrollable desire to eat it too. Watch his little bird mouth.

PLAY MORE, PAPA

Pax is very content listening to his Papa play the guitar. He usually gets really still and listens, especially if it's before bedtime.

THAT'S FUNNY, MAMA

So, I understand that Pax's fan club is more than ready for a new post...specifically some action. So, here goes. The little man was sick this week with a horrendous stomach bug. We spent Monday night at Urgent Care and the ER because he could not stop vomitting. Thankfully, he's back to his old happy self now.

For about 2 days, he thought that I was really funny when I wrinkled up my nose like a rabbit. See here.

He has some new skills....like waving and saying "bye bye" and crawling (on all fours, finally....as opposed to army crawling). I will get videos of those posted shortly. Stayed tuned.

FUN WEEKEND W/ BB, PAWPAW and GRAMMY

BB and Pawpaw came from Memphis, TN and Grammy came from Jackson, MS for Pax's baptism. We had such a fun time with them. Here's a few shots from the weekend. Pax was on his best behavior all weekend.

PAX'S BAPTISM

On Sunday, our baby boy was baptized.

God said to Abraham, "I will be a God to you and to your children after you." Abraham believed His promise and devoted all he had to the Lord, including his family members. In obedience, he practiced circumcision, demonstrating that God's covenant would pass to future generations.

In the New Testament, the promise to bless through faith in God's grace continued, but the sign of the covenant had changed to baptism.

We baptized Pax out of obedience in expectation of God's presence and blessing on our son's life.

As Rankin explained to us, this was like God slipped an engagment ring on Pax's finger and one day Pax will have to make his own decision to walk the aisle and get married.

We were so thankful to have some of our family (2 grandmas and 1 grandpa, Richard and Brenda Faulk and Elise Green) there to celebrate this occasion with us.

DO IT AGAIN

Pax likes to make us laugh. He knows that we think this heading shaking is hilarious. (I know...as parents, it's even the very simple things that you love).

I see him in my rear view mirror in his car seat and just crack up! I finally captured it on camera.
