PLAY DATE

We met baby Jasper and Deanna recently for lunch. Here are the boys. Jasper is 2 weeks younger than Pax but he has some advanced skills....crawling and pulling up to stand (on everything!).

SERIOUS RASBERRIES!

We are having so much fun watching our baby's little personality emerge. This is a funny little clip of him making rasberries...atleast that is what I'm told it's called. He does it with such intensity. Notice how tense his arms get.

CLAP CLAP CLAPPING

I've been so excited about Pax learning to clap...and I think he was doing it today.

FATHER'S DAY REVISITED

Someone just emailed me these pictures. This is from Father's Day weekend...when Pax was making Papa a card. What a mess we made. I look foward to many more of these messes.

NORTH CAROLINA JOURNEY

Pax and I recently took a trip to North Carolina for my dear friend, Heather's, wedding. We stayed in an adorable little cottage and 3 girlfriends stayed upstairs in a separate cottage. We had so much fun. The 5.5 hours on the plane felt like forever, but Pax was an angel. (it's not that I'm biased...even my fellow passengers said so)
Here are the girls. Jeannie, Ashley, Elizabeth, Heather and me.
Here Pax is getting a bath before the big event.
Here is the little man by the creek outside of our cottage window. Here are the happy bride and groom...Heather and Jeff Killebrew.Ole Miss girls (oh...and Pax). These were some funny sleeping shots over the weekend.

Here he is at the Seitz's house the night we arrived in Charlotte. I made him a terrific pallet in this cottage. Within 10 minutes, he had kicked the closet door open and here he is:I

ON THE MOVE

Our little man is on the move. The other night, I looked in the video monitor and saw the top of his head. He had going from laying down to sitting up. We quickly went and lowered the crib. I'm sure he'll be crawling and cruising any day now. Eek.
