SLICK, THE LOVEY

I introduced "a lovey" to Pax this week. I think we'll call it "slick." That is what Aaron called his silky pillow when he was little.

When Pax is tired and fighting sleep in his crib, if we rub "slick" on his face, he just calms down, like magic.

We have a few new positions in the sling...facing forward to mama (if Paxie is tired) and facing outward (if he's alert). He loves it.

FUN WITH HATS

Paxie and mama have been busy busy. Yesterday we went to the mommy/baby movies. Today we go to the breastfeeding support group. Tomorrow are the botanical gardens and Friday is yoga. Whew. All this...AND we working on naps, transitioning to the crib, etc. I have him take at least 2 of his naps at home during the day. Our friend, Julie, will come watch Pax tonight so Aaron and I can go to dinner and celebrate 2 years of marriage. YAY!!

Well...it's that time...to make the move from the bassinet in our room...
to his crib.
I think this transition will be hardest on me, the mama! Perhaps I'll just stay up all night watching him on the video monitor. I'm so thankful for this technology! Thanks Pops!

WHAT'S UP?

Pax is drooling like crazy these days....perhaps the start of some teeth. We had a great visit from Amanda. She liked to read to Pax. He thought she was hilarious (and pretty). We are so thankful that she and Cole have decided to move to LA.....just kidding....we only wish.
