JUST A SLINGIN'
Pax just LOOOOVES being in the sling. Perhaps it take him back to the good ole days in the womb...attending spin class, going on walks, cleaning the apartment...just going through life with his momma.
Yes, I could've put him down in his crib or bassinet...but no, I didn't want to. I just can't bear to have him out of my site. I know that this will soon change. But, for now, I remain hopelessly madly lovesick

NURSING ON THE GO
PAX ROGERS

40 WEEKS, 4 DAYS
Of course our child is stubborn. He/she has 2 of the most stubborn parents around. Although, it's comforting to know that the "average gestation for first time white mothers is 41 weeks and 1 day"....per my sophisticated internet research. Twinkles has until Monday to hit the average.
On Monday, I went to yoga and Aaron and I walked 5.5 miles....to Target and Blockbuster. Yesterday, yoga and walking again. Wednesday, yoga and walking again.
Well, in case you're wondering what's on today's agenda to encourage Baby Rogers to come out...castor oil, herbs, yoga, walking, stair climbing and DANCING!
Baby is healthy and amniotic fluid is a plenty. I'd prefer not to induce. My doctor will
let me go as far as 42 weeks.

40 WEEKS PREGGERS
On Twinkle's due date, we had a fun-filled day at church, eating out, the zoo...and eating out, again. No idea when this baby is arriving. He/she still seems to be sittin' rather high.
Aaron's favorite animals at the zoo are the monkeys, apes, chimps, etc.....and mine are the big cats. Too bad...most of the monkeys were out of sight....as were the tigers. We did have fun watching the lions though. I've posted a few highlights below.

COUNTING DOWN
As Twinkles continues to contemplate when he/she wants to make his/her grand entrance into the world...I continue to nest and work at distracting myself. Today, I managed to pack in a walk and a yoga class then Aaron and I went to lunch with friends and then visited the La Brea Tar Pits and 2 "museums" on Hollywood Blvd. (The Hollywood Wax Museum and the Guinness Book of World Records Museum).

Anywho, the newest additions to Casa Rogers include a fabulous piece of art by Cathy Lancaster and lamp shades for my turquoise mid-century lamps. Thanks to my parents for the artwork.....a perfect and oh so generous Christmas gift.
